One-Line Bio

30-Something follower of Jesus, husband, father, United Methodist pastor & spiritual architect, guitar hack, amateur drummer and ragamuffin.

Biography

Well, after a good while of leaving this page blank, mostly due to laziness, I though it about high time to give you, the kind and gentle reader some additional information about me.

I'm a relatively young pastor [and young is such a relative term] who lives out his life as a follower of Jesus within the tribe of United Methodism.

One might ask, "What the heck is a 'spiritual architect' anyway? Are you just trying to be young and hip?"

Well, maybe [but sadly, I'm rarely as hip as I think I am]. But as I see it, all of life as the spiritual life. I understand that my job as a leader in the church is to create moments where Spirit and flesh meet; moments in which heaven and earth kiss in transformative and experiential ways for the good of the individual, community and world in which we find ourselves.

Therefore on this site, my own little slice of the internet, I'll ramble on about many a thing that I think is important to me, has deeply moved me, or even those things that I think should deeply move you.

We are all a work in progress, always in motion but never quite finished. But we journey together to find strength, beauty, depth, and meaning.
